Other Information:

·         No entry may enter a class until an entry form has been completed, fees paid, and a number has been assigned.

·         Helmets will be required for anyone under the age of 18, although everyone is strongly advised to wear them.

·         There will be no refunds unless due to a bona fide injury to horse or rider (equitation). Refunds will only be made upon receipt of a veterinarian (or doctor's) certificate.

·         Stabling will be available for $25.00 for the day per stall and there is ample parking for all size rigs.

·         All horses must have proof of Coggins within the past three years (for Maine horses) and six months (for out of state horses) in order to show.

·         All horses must have proof of Shot Records within the past year in order to show.

·         Leadline participants must be led by an adult 18 years of age or older.

·         Food will be available on show grounds.

·         No Smoking in Barn Area.

·         Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.

Upper Pond Stables, The Maine Morgan Horse Club, Inc. and the Maine Morgan Breeder's Cup and show committee and its agents and employees will not be responsible for accidents that may occur to any rider, driver, groom, attendant, spectator, animal, or equipment at this show. Nor will Upper Pond Stables, The Maine Morgan Horse Club, Inc. and the Maine Morgan Breeder's Cup and show committee and its agents and employees be responsible for loss or destruction of any property or equipment to or by animals on the show grounds (Upper Pond Stables) or in the show arena and stable area.

Directions to Upper Pond Stables

Directions to Upper Pond Stables, Litchfield, Maine
From I 95 Get onto Route 92 south in Gardiner (not interstate). Take Richmond/Bowdoinham Exit of 95 south. Turn right off exit onto Route 197 west. Follow about one mile to Richmond four corners where Route 201 bisects Route 197. Go straight across intersection staying on Route 197. Follow about two miles. You will see a cow farm on right and will come into bad curve to the left. Look for Upper Pond Road on the right directly in the middle of curve. Follow Upper Pond Road approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile; look for Upper Pond Stable sign on the left.

Traveling from South From Turnpike
Get off exit 9 in Falmouth; follow I-95 north past Bath/Brunswick exit to Richmond/Litchfield exit. Turn left at end of exit onto Route 197 West. Follow about one mile to Richmond four corners where Route 201 bisects Route 197. Go straight across intersection staying on Route 197. Follow about two miles. You will see a cow farm on right and will come into bad curve to the left. Look for Upper Pond Road on the right directly in the middle of curve. Traveling from North From Turnpike
Take Richmond Gardiner exit and get onto Route 201 South. Follow this about six miles or so. Look for KOA Campgrounds, then Knights Farm and Feed Store. When you see Knights Farm and Feed Store, you are about one mile from intersection of Route 201/197 (called Richmond four corners). Turn right at intersection (landmark-small gas station/convenience store on right at turn). Follow about two miles. You will see a cow farm on right and will come into bad curve to the left. Look for Upper Pond Road on the right directly in the middle of curve. Follow Upper Pond Road approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile; look for Upper Pond Stable sign on the left.

From Lewiston
Take Route 126 East through Sabattus. At Waterman's Farm & Machinery take a right onto Route 197 to Litchfield (road is very bumpy and about ten miles across). Landmarks to look for - Litchfield Elementary (new school) on right, then you will come to intersection and another small primary school on right. Follow on Route 197 East until you start into a sharp curve to right. In the middle of the curve there is a road on left called: Upper Pond Road. Take that left. Follow Upper Pond Road approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile; look for Upper Pond Stable sign on the left.
